A serious amount of planning has gone into what we will be taking on our journey. We are still in the process purchasing the essentials like: Chess sets, magnetic hooks, a table and folding chairs. More will be documented as we get a better idea of what we are doing.  

Whyte Suffolk

The Suffolk benefits from Shimano's 11-speed 105 groupset with full hydraulic brakes. A wide-ratio cassette makes getting up the hills a breeze and the brakes providing confidence in all weather conditions. It has a strong alloy 6061 frame, however, the decision was taken to change the wheels and tyres to something more resistant to the lumps and bumps of stoney tracks.

Emergency Kit

As the family will always be within 100 miles, there is less of an emphasis on carrying equipment. As will any trip of distance the vitals will be carried:
- Pump
- Replacement Inner tubes
- Puncture repair kit and tyre levers
- Two bottles of water
- Waterproofs, hat, gloves & sunglasses
- Food!
